As part of my degree program, I was required to take a photography class. I was given my own DSLR camera for the semester. Throughout the course I shot events all around the city. Some of my assignments included "people having fun", environmental portraits and self portraits. My time in the course nurtured a love for event photography and gave me the confidence I once lacked behind the lens.
